December 04, 2015 | A Minimalist's Wishlist

Christmas is fast approaching! Time to stock up some winter essentials. Cashmeres, sweaters, scarves, and coats, all that are thick, furry, cozy, and warm. To add to that warm fuzzy feeling, some scented candles you might like. Pair it up with a warm cup of chocolate while you sit by a fire place. (Now that sounds like what I'd rather be doing.)  You'd also like to reflect on the upcoming events that will happen next year. So you might like to jot it down on your chic agenda that you got for Christmas. Finally, running late for a party? No problem, with your chic slip ons that can carry from day outfit to night outfit, you won't be tripping over cuz of your sparkly heels.

Here are my selections for my wishlist this Christmas. Oh, Santa! Please kindly view this blog post. Thanks!

I can't remember when's the last time I post here. Oh, right! It was last July!!! Months have past already and I'm living here in HK for almost 6 months! Time surely is up to speed when you're "enjoying" yourself. Ha! I beg to differ. Growing up isn't as fun as you see in movies and tv shows. All the expenses are sinking into my system and my bank account. Taking into consideration whether you are eating the right thing as well. But all the healthy stuff don't come cheap. :( I crei!! One (small) organic avocado is for $14 (HKD)!

Awesome news for my parents though! Their applications for immigrating to the US have been accepted. And they need to fly by March and live a new life there. Obviously I feel ecstatic to hear about that. And hopefully me next. (crosses fingers and toes) But what's the rush? I'm ok living here with my brother and cousins, which is good thing so as to not feel home sick. (which I secretly feel sometimes):(( I will miss them dearly. Imagine this was the first time of me being far away from my parents. And now they are even more far away. The other side of the world! Think about the time difference. Well, just have to compromise in order to stay in-touch with them. Still feel happy for them!

Our road ahead has already shaped up. It's just about time for us to march on and see where it leads to. Just hope we won't crash into road bumps on the way.

Virtually crying cuz I feel so bad in almost abandoning this blog. Things have gone way out of hand lately. I won't talk into details about it. This has been one roller coaster ride. There were some ups, but the most prevalent were the downs. It's ok, that's life as they all say. Everything has a reason. I just hope I won't be an emotional wreck after all of this.

The sun decided to come out today, so I went out for a walk and explore around my neighborhood. It has said that Prince Edward is the district where you can find a street full of flower shops, a cornucopia of flowers/ plants / herbs. I decided to check that out for myself. Thanks to Google Maps, I found the area in no time. It's just a few minutes walk from our apartment to the market. And gosh! I wish I could buy them all! They're all so pretty!

I don't know why but flowers can really do make someone's day better.
The aroma, the colors, the texture...

When you want to buy something for a special friend, or a gift for no reason just because. You have an endless options here at the Flower Market Road. Enjoy!
